Katy Perry wins five awards at People's Choice - but isn't there to collect them

Katy Perry missed out on last night's People's Choice Awards

Oh, we bet you wish you'd gone now... Katy Perry won a massive five People's Choice Awards last night, including Favourite Female Artist, after pulling out of the show due to her break-up with Russell Brand. But though Katy was missed at the ceremony, there were plenty of other celebs there to make sure the red carpet didn't look too empty. Actually, it was a bit crowded on there by the looks of things.

Kelly Osbourne went as her mum Sharon's 'date' and was joined by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Bell, Ashley Greene and Glee's Lea Michele. Demi Lovato, Vanessa Hudgens, Chloe Moretz, The Help star Emma Stone and Miley Cyrus (looking very grown-up with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth) were all there too. And breathe.

Katy missed the ceremony after pulling out with an announcement on Twitter earlier this week, saying: 'Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the Peoples Choice Awards. I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed!'. Katy was originally nominated for seven awards and the People's Choice Awards was due to be her first official job since Russ filed for divorce after just 14 months together. Russell was also originally invited, but had been 'uninvited' (AWKWARD) after the split was announced.

Demi Lovato, looking hot in red, performed her new single "Give Your Heart a Break" and also picked upthe trophy for Favorite Pop Artist, after beating Katy Perry andBeyonce (er, really?).
"The artists I was up against are people Ilook up to and aspire to be one day," the 19-year-old said. "And I wonthis award because of my fans. I dedicate this to you guys. You guysare absolutely amazing."

Maroon 5 also won an award, and Adam Levine thanked his parents for, er, 'making him' (EW).

Anyone fancy a complete list of winners?
