London’s leading ladies lap up a Dolce & Gabbana feast

It's not customary to see the fashion set stuffing their faces with Parma ham and pasta - especially when dripping in Dolce & Gabbana designs, but that's exactly what happened last month in the name of Harper's Bazaar USA.

Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana hosted a dinner in honour of their foodie-inspired spring/summer collection, inviting all their favourite London 'It' girls to frolic in their pepper-print dresses and pasta earrings, with photographer Terry Richardson on hand the capture the mayhem.

Cue model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne sharing spaghetti ( Lady and the Tramp -style) with girl-about-town Pixie Geldof, who wore little more than an embroidered corset and hotpants.

"The dinner party is such an important part of our real lives" Gabbana explained of both the collection and the food-filled photo shoot.

Set in London, an invitation to the food-fashion-fun soirèe was also extended to Prince Harry's ex Florence Brudenell-Bruce, singers Eliza Doolittle, Florrie Arnold and Jade Williams as well as models Amber le Bon, Tali Lennox and Mary Charteris.

Take That singer and X Factor judge Gary Barlow can be spotted in the mix enjoying a glass of red wine, while the only non-London resident was guest of honour, Eva Herzigova.

The 39-year-old supermodel was sandwiched between the two designers, intimately sharing slithers of Parma ham.

And they say models don't eat…
